COMPOSITION

COMPOSITION

The FOOD4WA Network is composed of the CEA Impact operating in the field of agriculture.
As such, it is composed of two types of members:

  • Founding members
  • Adherent members

a) Founding members

The founding members of the FOOD4WA Network are the CEA Impact operating in the field of agriculture that have adhered to its first statutes at the date of its validation. These are:

  • CERSA from Togo
  • CERPP of Niger
  • CEFTER from Nigeria
  • CCBAD of Côte d’Ivoire
  • CDA of Nigeria
  • AGRISAN of Senegal
  • WACCI from Ghana

b) Adherent members
The adherent members of the FOOD4WA Network are the CEA or any other structures with the same missions that will apply for membership after validation of the Statutes.

The status of a member is acquired after adherence to the Statute as a founding member or adherent member.

The Coordinating Body first examines and approves the written application for membership.
It is then submitted to the General Assembly, which grants membership.

After that, the Coordinating Body must respond within three months from the submitted application date.

All founding and adherent members must pay the annual membership fee, which the General Assembly approves on the recommendation of the Coordinating Body.

RESIGNATION
The status of a member is lost after a resignation by written notice addressed to the Coordinating Body.
Following the notice, the Coordinator officially informs the other members and the General Assembly at its next meeting.

SUSPENSION AND EXCLUSION
Notice for resignation is issued at any time after membership has been granted. The resignation takes effect from the date of pronouncement of the resignation by the General Assembly.

The General Assembly pronounces the suspension or exclusion of a member on the recommendation of the Coordinating Board, based on serious faults reported by the articles of the Rules of Procedures, which govern the FOOD4WA Network.

The decision of the General Assembly is communicated in writing to the member concerned. The member can appeal in writing against the decision in accordance with the laws in force. This appeal procedure is put on the agenda and considered at the next ordinary session of the General Assembly immediately following the appeal and when the quorum is met.
